Don Prys "From childhood in the San Joaquin Valley and San Diego, to the beginnings of my career as artist and gallery owner in the Santa Ynez valley, the rich landscapes of California farmland, canals and canyons have been an enduring influence in my work of contemporary paintings. Relocating to Michigan to raise our children and reestablishing my gallery gave me an appreciation for the lush landscapes and lakes of the Midwest. Now at home with my wife in Salt Lake City, Utah, I relish in daily views of the Wasatch mountains majestic vistas and wide expanses. you will see my lifelong fascination for the spirit and grandeur of the West in my body of work.
